This special stand-alone class continues with myofascial techniques that dramatically improve your ability to work with the ribcage and related structures such as the spine, diaphragm and mediastinum. Increase your effectiveness when working with back pain, rib pain and injuries, ligament and joint conditions, respiratory issues, surgery recovery, thoracic stability, scoliosis and postural issues, and movement limitations.
Preparation: completion of our either Rib I, Spine, Rib, & Low Back, and/or Scoliosis courses (via seminar or DVD) is highly recommended (though not required) preparation for this course. Order the DVDs at a discount during your registration. All welcome.

This popular series of seminars presents practicing somatic therapists and qualified students with advanced and little-known myofascial techniques which can be easily incorporated into existing personal styles. Drawing on a wide range of disciplines, the focus is on unusual, interesting, and fresh approaches that will both expand technique repertoire and inspire creativity and innovation. With a diverse background that includes experience and contributions in the fields of manual therapy, post-secondary eductation, somatic psychology, as well as organizational and leadership development, Til's ability to connect interdisciplinary, big picture ideas to practical, real-world applications has made his trainings and events popular worldwide.
As a Certified Advanced Rolfer®, Til is a former faculty member and Coordinator of the Rolf Institute's Foundations of Rolfing Structural Integration program, where in the early 1990's he originated Skillful Touch Bodywork (the Rolf Institute's own training and practice modality). As the author of Advanced Myofascial Techniques textbook series, his regular column has appeared in Massage & Bodywork magazine since 2009, and his articles have been published in magazines and peer-reviewed technical journals in Australia, Canada, Poland, the UK, and the USA. Formerly a resident practitioner at the Esalen Institute, Chair of the Rolf Institute's Teacher Training Committee, and Adjunct Faculty member of Naropa University's Somatic Psychology Department, he has trained thousands of practitioners in his popular courses at schools and centers in over a dozen countries on six continents. His private practice is based in the Boulder/Denver area, and includes myofascial work, practitioner supervision, and professional coaching with clients from around the world.
Designed for practicing manual therapy professionals and advanced students, the Certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques (CAMT) programs give you a credential that will set you apart in the eyes of clients, referral sources, clinics, employers, and schools.
To become CAMT certified, simply attend the 5 principle seminars in the Advanced Myofascial Techniques series (AMT) series, receive 2 AMT sessions, and earn additional elective credits through a variety of local or at-a-distance options.
