Winter Wellness Series Part III: Nature as Medicine

Human beings now spend less time in nature than any time in history. It is of no surprise that there is a concurrent all time high incidence of mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression. We are wired to spend time in the natural world, it is literally in our DNA.
This class will explore the science that supports Nature as an effective, non-invasive means of promoting physical and emotional well-being. In addition to the informational component, participants will also have the opportunity for a brief nature-connection experience.
