CLASS DESCRIPTION:Unity began as a self-healing ministry after Myrtle Fillmore healed herself of tuberculosis through only prayer and affirmations. The prayer ministry known as Silent Unity was born and Unity Centers opened around the country.
The healing practices and principles developed and applied by Myrtle and Charles are the basis of this course. Students will be working with the Fillmore’s teachings on healing and wholeness, as well as with historical and contemporary master teachers.
The principles will be presented to support students in developing a practical understanding of Unity theology.
WHAT ARE S.E.E. COURSES?Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, your path begins with Unity’s Spiritual Education and Enrichment (SEE) courses. These courses are not something you will take and put away on a bookshelf, never to be used again. Your experiences will enrich your everyday life, for the rest of your life.
SEE courses are for adult learners of all kinds who are seeking individual spiritual growth or are interested in earning credits towards Unity credentialing.
If you choose to take these courses for credit, at the completion of the initial 22 SEE Courses, you are eligible to apply for the LUT (Licensed Unity Teacher) Program, Youth & Family Leader Program, or the Ministerial Program through Unity Worldwide Ministries.
