Santa Arrives at Twenty Ninth Street Nov. 25

Once the Thanksgiving feast is put away and the holiday shopping has started, one local Boulder mall has plans to ring in the holiday spirit with the arrival of Santa.

The special Santa arrival ceremony is set for Nov. 25 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Twenty Ninth Street shopping center, which is at 1710 29th Street in Boulder. Santa will be featured in the Macy’s Plaza.

Additionally, the shopping center will do its tree lighting ceremony on Nov. 25 during the special ceremony. The event aims to ring in the holidays with style and community spirit.

Santa will arrive at 6 pm. He’s parked his flying sleigh elsewhere (perhaps on one of the Flatirons), and he will arrive in a horse-drawn carriage. Santa’s reindeer also are getting a break and you can visit them up close and personally from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Twenty Ninth Street will offer free horse drawn carriage rides from 6 to 9 pm.

Children of all ages can visit with Santa from 6 to 9 pm. He will be located in the Macy’s Children’s Department. Be sure to bring your own camera to get a photo with Santa. No professional photos will be offered.

Please also bring canned foods to donate to Community Food Share.
